Why have a configuration setting that does nothing? Delta, you tease.
Oppose HTML mail! (Note that I only agree with some of the arguments presented)

I suppose the top of your website should start with journal entry #1 and we should scroll to the bottom to see the most recent, then? :)

For the most part, each entry is standalone, so there's no "flow" to worry about. Plus, everyone hates to scroll, especially if they have a stone-age mouse or trackball without a wheel, or a jankity touchpad without scroll zones.
