Fire: Spring Meadow Lake

A fire sprung up yesterday at Spring Meadow Lake in Helena, Montana. This is directly across the road from my Montana office. The fire department forced the Operations staff to evacuate for a while for fear the fire would jump the road. We do have a "disaster recovery" hot backup site for situations like this, but I never expected to even be at risk of needing to use it.

Under normal circumstances, you can't see the forest...err, lake for the trees. Click for the full album.

Update: Added a "before" and an "after" photo. The earlier one shows a helicopter picking up water to fight some other fire.
